Legacy of the Forgotten-Poem
Legacy of the Forgotten
I'm a solider of war
With strength unmatched,
Reflexes unseen, and senses
Unbeaten by anything.
It came, however, at a very steep price.
For who I was, or might have been,
Have long since been forgotten.
I have no family, no friends,
No allies; only enemies,
Save those who are just like me.
We live to fight, we're trained to kill,
And we have nothing but each other.
For who we were, or might have been,
Has long since been forgotten.

Our nicknames we gave each other.
It gives us some humanity that
We'd otherwise lack, for we're trained
For combat, for stealth, and for
